The elegance of a timeless historical brand and the authenticity of a panettone that comes from the best raw materials
and from the use of natural mother yeast tied in a towel and refreshed three times a day as true tradition dictates. Stoneground wheat, Calabrian orange skins harvested and peeled by hand, Madagascar vanilla, honey obtained from the nectar of acacia flowers collected exclusively by bees in the spontaneous woods of the Tuscan hills, integral sea salt, Australian raisins “5 Corone”, a fine variety of raisins grown in the south of Australia.
However, the true secret to great Panettone is sourdough. Barbero’s “mother yeast” was created many years ago, wrapped in cloth and refreshed three times a day as Milanese tradition dictates. This Panettone is exclusively made by the house of Barbero and is individually wrapped and delivered in an elegant metal box.
INGREDIENTS:
Wheat flour with stone grounded Wheat germ (28%) (Wheat flour – Stone grounded Wheat germ) – Raisins (15%), Butter (Milk), Sugar – Candied orange peels from Calabria (9%) [Orange peels from Calabria – Glucose-fructose syrup – Sugar] – Egg yolk – Natural yeast (Wheat flour – Water) – Water – Acacia honey from Tuscany (1%) – Emulsifier: Mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids – Salt – Whole Milk powder – Natural flavour (0,07%) – Natural vanilla flavour (0,03%).
